Itinerary for 2 Days 1 Night Leshan Buddha and Mount Emei Tour

Day 1

• Take a bus at Chengdu New South Gate Bus Station (新南门车站) to Leshan Xiao Ba Bus Station ( RMB 47 per person ) or Chengdu Shi Yang Bus Station (石羊站) to Leshan City Centre Bus Station ( RMB 47 per person ). Note: you may choose either one depending on your location in Chengdu. Buses are very frequent at half an hour interval. 2 hours journey to Leshan.

• Arrival at Leshan, take a taxi to Leshan Buddha (乐山大佛) (estimated cost at RMB 20). Cost of ticket for Leshan Buddha is RMB 90 per person.

• After your visit, you may take a private car to Mount Emei ( there are abundant at the exit of your visit ). Please make sure to tell them you would like to go Bao Guo Temple Mount Emei (报国寺车站) ( Cost per person is RMB15) Estimated time of travel is 1 hour. Note: You may also take a bus from Xiao Ba Bus Station to Bao Guo Temple Station (RMB11 per person)

• Arrival at Mount Emei Bus Station, walk to our hotel which is along the 2nd aisle on the right of bus station ( or you could let the driver to call us for direct drop off at our entrance- 13518230917 ).

• Receive a warm welcome from our front desk staffs and check-in to your designated room. Have a rest and enjoy dinner at our restaurant (best grilled fish around this area). If you have time, we could arrange a trip for local acrobatic show at the city centre ( RMB140 per person, pick up and drop off by our hotel- a must watch for all tourists).

• Back to hotel and have a good sleep for next day mountain climbing.

Day 2

• Wake up at 6.30am and enjoy local breakfast at our hotel. Take a bus from Bao Guo Temple to Lei Dong Ping Station at 7am. ( Cost for entrance ticket is RMB185, bus ticket at RMB90 per person ). 2 hours journey.

• Take the cable car or climb up to the top of mountain ( Cable car trip at RMB120- return fare)(Up RMB 65, down RMB55- allowed to purchase one way ticket)

• After visiting the mountain, take the bus from Lei Dong Ping to Wu Xian Gang Station. Here, you may visit Yi Xian Tian and natural site for monkeys.

• Return back to Wu Xian Gang Station and take the bus back to Bao Guo Temple Station.

• You may take the bus or train back to Chengdu. (Strongly suggest bus for shorter travelling time, depart from Bao Guo Temple Station- latest bus at 6pm)
